    • Earl Norbert Bosar, age 88, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012. He was born June 6, 1924 in Green Bay to the late Arthur and Alice (Bournoville) Bosar. He served in the US Army, in the European Theatre from 1943 to1946. He married Therese (Terry) Holewinski on June 10, 1950.

      Some of Earl's interests include watching the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. He was also an avid Railroad enthusiast, including many hours of volunteering at the National Railroad Museum. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially solitaire.

      Surviving are his children; Gary (Sheila) Bosar, Curtiss (Patti) Bosar, Gail (David) Rudnick, Brian (Denise) Bosar, six grandchildren; Justin, Trevor, Jeremiah, Shaun (Andi), Matthew Rudnick, and Nicole; two great grandchildren; Levi, and Lexi; and brother; Larry (Sherry) Bosar.

      In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Therese, and sister, Elaine.

      Earl loved to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest. He touched the lives of many people with his love, smile and laughter. He will live forever in the hearts of family and friends.

      Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm, with a prayer vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth Street, on Saturday, August 11, from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Military honors will follow.
