Notes - Jacob Lisowe died at the home of his son, Joseph, in the town of New Holstein on Saturday, March 3rd, at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 15 days. The deceased was born in Germany and came to this country some fifty years ago, locating in the town of New Holstein. He later moved to Brothertown and for forty years was a prominent resident of that town. The funeral was held on Tuesday from Holy Trinity church at Jericho, Rev. Fr. J. H. Huhn celebrating Requiem Mass, with interment in Jericho cemetery.
Mr. Lisowe was a man highly esteemed by his neighbors and friends. He is survived by four sons, Peter and Nick of Brothertown, Joseph of New Holstein and Jacob of Cleveland and four daughters, Mrs. Stephan Morgan of St. Joe, Mrs. John Nett, Mrs. Joseph Buechel of Brothertown and Miss Katherine at home.
