Paul, St. John Nepomuc, St. Leo; at St. Joseph in Oconto, Wisconsin; and

1992, she began working at Milwaukee Achiever Literacy Services in
Milwaukee where she served as coordinator of education and curriculum
from 1992-2003 and as a teacher/volunteer tutor from 2003-2009. Sister
Vonnie earned a bachelors degree in education from Mount Mary College
in Milwaukee and a masters degree in education, counseling and guidance
at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Since her retirement in 2007, she has
been serving through volunteer ministry and by her prayer and presence.
I celebrate Gods many blessings to me over the past years and
Gods grace to answer that call. I have been blessed by being able to
serve and be with people of another culture than mine. In being with
them I have experienced great faith and belief in God in their everyday
lives. This faith that I have observed has encouraged me to develop a
stronger belief in God in my everyday life! My faith has increased by
example. I am blessed.
The wisdom I would like to share… Every day brings challenges and
blessings. I choose to accept one day at a time.
