    • Vila M. "Ellie" Genslak (nee Schwabenlender), Little Chute, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Chilton Care Center. She was born February 24, 1914, in St. John, WI, daughter of George and Elizabeth (Frank) Schwabenlender.

      Mrs. Genslak was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, and enjoyed gardening. Ellie married Adolph J. Genslak, Sr., celebrating 68 years of marriage prior to his passing on September 23, 2003.

      Ellie is survived by two sons: Stan (Mary) Genslak, Michigan, Tom (Nancy) Genslak, Wisconsin; two daughters: Joan Sweere, Colorado, Sandy (Kuni) Iwata, California; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Adolph, Jr.; grandson, Donald; and a great-grandson, Danny.

      Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Rev. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Town of St. John. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass.
