      Bergeron, James B. "Jim"

      James B. Bergeron, Kimberly, age 87, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009. He was born in Oconto on March 6, 1922, to the late Joseph and Frances (Johnson) Bergeron. James married Julitta Lenz on February 9, 1943, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. He served in the Navy during World War II as a Petty Officer First Class on PT Boats and was a member of the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60 for over 60 years. James served as Village Trustee in Kimberly from 1953-1968. He was employed at Kimberly-Clark until his retirement in 1985.

      James is survived by his wife of 66 years, Julitta; children: Gayle of Milwaukee and Bill of Lake in the Hills, IL; sister, Mildred (Roger) Olm; and brother and sisters-in-law: Lloyd (Pat) Van De Hey, Madylen Bergeron and Helen Lenz. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

      In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, Allen; brothers and sister: Joseph (Mary) and Louie Bergeron and Marjorie Fischer; and brother and sister-in-law: Ignatius Lenz and Pauline Van De Hey.

      Visitation will be held at ST. PAUL PARISH (410 Wallace St., Combined Locks) Saturday, October 10, 2009, beginning at 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev. James Lucas will officiate.
