- Neenah - Victoria DeCleene Tyriver, Neenah, age 74. Hello God! I rejoiced in meeting you on Monday, February 12, 2018. I was born August 20, 1943, daughter of the late Glory Anna Lenz and Vincent John DeCleene. I grew up in Mikesville, Larsen and Winchester. I am proud that I was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winchester.
I graduated from Neenah High School and then began working at Marathon, a division of American Can. There I met and married William Edward Tyriver. We were blessed with four beautiful children, John, Andrew, Elisabeth and Katherine, before our marriage ended in divorce. I am so proud of them and my grandchildren and loved them dearly.
I worked various jobs through the years, most notably working for the Labor Relations Board #139 Operating Engineers. My favorite job was bartending at the Wheel Inn and enjoyed family, friends and conversations at the Century Elm Supper Club in Larsen.
I was lucky to have spent some wonderful years in Kissimmee, FL, before returning back to Neenah to spend my final years. I was a member of Calvary Bible Church and loved all the folks in my Wednesday morning bible study. Thanks for all your cards, visits and prayers.
I am survived by my children: John Tyriver - Orlando, FL; Andrew (Denise) Tyriver - Huntsville, AL; Elisabeth Jackson - Neenah, and Katherine Tyriver - Orlando, FL. My grandchildren: Sarah, Victoria, Gloryana and Zane Tyriver - Orlando; Megan, Jacob (Jamie) Tyriver - Huntsville, AL; Vincent, Edwin and Jackson Pinkley - Neenah, Christopher Jackson - Neenah. My great-grandson, Liam Tyriver - Huntsville, AL; along with many more extended family members.
I am preceded in death by my parents and my brother whom I cannot wait to see again in heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Century Elm Supper Club in Larsen on Monday, February 19, 2018. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
Do not weep for me, I have been waiting to meet God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit face to face for so long and now it has happened! What a joy to be with God, the one who created me and loved me first.
Special thanks to my second family at Alten Haus and the team from Heartland Hospice who took such good care of me for so long. You were marvelous, darling. Simply marvelous!
