- Norbert F. Kozlowski Jr. "Nubs" "Norb", 68, passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1942, in Appleton, to the late Norbert Sr. and Theresa (Geurts) Kozlowski. On June 11, 1966, he was united in marriage to Laura Thorne at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Neenah. Norb was an insurance salesman for American Family in Neenah and Menasha. Upon retiring, Norb started his own business, ABS Windshield Repair. He was a volunteer for the Make a Wish Foundation and Affinity Visiting Nurses. Norb was an avid Packers, Badgers and Nascar fan. He was a huge supporter of Kleenex Racing in the BUSCH series. He also enjoyed spending time with his many friends at Mr. Ed's Campground in Campbellsport.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristine Brummund and son, Brian Kozlowski; grandchildren, Collin, Kendra, Cameron Brummund; sisters, Terri (Mike) Rossey and Marita (Tom) List; brothers, Michael (Joyce) Kozlowski, Greg (Mary) Kozlowski and David (Geraldine) Kozlowski. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Laura; and nephew, Keith Kozlowski.
Funeral services for Norb will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at the funeral home with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Visitation will begin at 4 until 8 p.m. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
