- Orpha Helen Aerts (Anderegg), 80, of Amberg, completed her journey through life and passed into God's presence on December 7, 2010. At the time of her unexpected death she was with family and friends. Orpha was born in Algoma, Wisconsin on December 6, 1930 to the late George and Esther (Detjen) Anderegg. She graduated from Algoma High School in 1948. Orpha married David Aerts in December of 1951. She was a member of the American Legion #66 and the Red Hatters of Athelstane. Orpha enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, golf, and was known as a "card and pool shark." She was also a breast cancer survivor.
She leaves behind four children; Sandy (Curt) Christensen of Colorado, Craig of Amberg, George of Amberg, and Shelley of Marinette, three beloved grandchildren; Corey and David of Aurora, Colorado and Lucus Krause of Green Bay.
Preceded in death by her parents; George and Esther Anderegg and her husband, David in 1997.
Memorial visitation will be held at Messar Funeral Home on Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 1:00-2:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow. Pastor Brian Sjoquist officiating.
