    • Nancy C. Pues, 74, of Appleton, passed away Friday morning, February 3, 2017 at Brewster Village in Appleton. She was born December 10, 1942 daughter of the late Jared and Ella (Zuleger) Bergsbaken.

Nancy is a member of First English Lutheran Church, Appleton.

Nancy married the love of her life, Arlyn Pues, on September 28, 1963 and spent 53 wonderful years together on the ball diamonds.

She was a caregiver by nature, having cared for many family members throughout the years.

Nancy and Arly raised their family spending the summers attending baseball and softball games. It was during that time they and their children developed many lifelong relationships.

She was an avid Packer fan (loved #4) having been a season ticket holder since 1959, and attended the Ice Bowl. Nancy also enjoyed volunteering serving meals at Randall Court Apartments and at Fishes and Loaves food pantry.

Most of all, Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Arlyn; children: Tammy (Ron Schemmel) Zehren, Bobbi Jo (Craig) Huss, Kelly (Dave Small) Prosser, all of Appleton; six grandchildren: Jared (fiancé Melanie) Shaw, Morgan, Cole, and Claire Huss, Riley and Rayce Prosser; and grand dogs. Further survived by her brother, Gale Bergsbaken; and brother-in-law, Marvin (Ellen) Pues.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her in-laws, two sisters-in-law, and three brothers-in-law.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 4-8 pm and visitation will continue on Friday, February 10, 2017 at First English Lutheran Church, 326 E.
