Allan (Al) Pritzl, an intelligent, humorous and generous man, passed away peacefully on Feb 9th, 2024 at his home at the age of 74.

Born on August 9th 1949 in Appleton, WI, son of the late Julius and Isabelle (Driessen) Pritzl, Al grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin where he developed a strong work ethic and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Al was passionate about many things; specifically gardening, woodworking, and cooking. His deep love of family extended to his many pets.

Throughout his life, Al touched numerous lives through his acts of kindness and heroism. Al bravely served his nation as a Corporal in the Army, earning a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

He was very supportive of charitable endeavors, always seeking opportunities to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate. His commitment to making a positive impact on the world around him inspired many and left a lasting impression on the lives of those he encountered.

Al will be dearly missed by his friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of compassion, generosity, and selflessness will continue to inspire others for years to come.

Al is survived by his children: Elizabeth Pritzl, Michael Pritzl (Kira). His Siblings: Gerald Pritzl (Myra), Darlene Ales, Joyce Swoboda (Tom), Susan Morrison, Nancy Dargelies.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Tom Ales.

A celebration of Allan's life will be held on Feb 16th, 10am to 12pm, at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton. Refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, Al would prefer donations be made to Habitat for Humanity, St. Joe’s Food Pantry, or PBS Wisconsin, reflecting his dedication to making the world a better place.

Though Allan may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on through the memories and the positive impact he made on the lives of those around him.

Rest in peace, Al. Your kindness and compassion will be remembered and cherished by all who knew you.
