    • Mrs. Eugene Bessett (Emily).
      314 Avon St., New London, age 77, passed away in New London, this morning following a lingering illness. She was born August 17, 1890 in Deer Creek. Mrs. Bessett was a member of the Most Precious Blood Church, New LOndon and the Senior Sodality. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Dorothy) Hall, Laurel, Mississippi; Mrs. Clyde (Hazel) Barrington, New LOndon; two brothers, William and Casper Balthazor, New London; one sister, Mrs. Zowie Weid, Neenah; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New LOndon. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Rev. George Beth will officiate. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Cline-Hanson Funeral Home, new London where the parish rosary will be prayed at 8:15 p.m. Friday.
