    • Kaukauna Woman Dies at Age 85; Rites Monday
      Funeral rites were conducted Monday for Mrs. Nick (Mary) Timmers, 1001 Draper st., Kaukauna, who died at 6 p.m. Friday. She was 85.
      The cortege formed at the Greenwood Funeral Home and services were held at 10 o'clock at Holy Cross Church with burial in the parish cemetery. Rev. Andrew Linsmeyer officiated.
      born August 29, 1883 in the Town of Vanden Broek, Mrs. Timmers lived in Kaukauna most of her life. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, Court No. 556.
      Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. John (Ella) Bast, Appleton; Mrs. John (Gertrude) Hietpas, Kaukauna; Mrs. Henry (Rosella) Weyers, Oshkosh; Mrs. Alvin (Mabel) Lemke and Mrs. Marvin (Dorothy) Siebers, both of Kaukauna; four sons, Ted and richard, Kaukauna; William of Kimberly and Nick, Spokane, Wash.; 26 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.
      Pall bearers were Roger Hietpas, William Timmers, Henry Weyers, Jr., James Lemke, Roy Bast, and Bernard Zierler.
      Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Marcella Nytes, Miss Ann Wolf, Mrs. Gen Anderson, Mrs. Rose Schydzik, Mrs. Matt Verfurth and Mrs. John Gerrits.

      Age 85, died at 6 p.m. last evening. She was born in the Town of VandenBroek August 29, 1883 and lived in Kaukauna most of her life. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters Court 556. Survivors are five daughters, MRs. John (Ella) Bast, Appleton; Mrs. John (Gertrude) Hietpas, Kaukauna; Mrs. Henry (Rosella) Weyers, Oshkosh; Mrs. Alvin (Mabel) Lemke, Kaukauna; Mrs. Marvin (Dorothy) Siebers, Kaukauna; four sons, Ted and Richard, Kaukauna, William of Kimberly and Nick, Spokane, Washington; twenty-six grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 o'clock at Holy Cross Church and burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call the Greenwood Fuenral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday and the rosary will be at 8 p.m.
