    • Brantmeier, Mary Agnes Mary Agnes Brantmeier, 95, Chilton, died on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Century Ridge in Chilton. She was born Aug. 8, 1916, in the Town of Stockbridge, daughter of the late John and Anna (Walsh) Campbell. She attended Stockbridge schools and graduated from Stockbridge High School. She married Jerome Brantmeier on Oct. 11, 1938, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stockbridge. The couple farmed together in the Town of Harrison until 1966 when they began operating Butch & Mary's Bar in Sherwood. Given Mary's enjoyment in social settings, this was a more fitting atmosphere to accommodate her love of good company and great times. Butch and Mary's continued operation until 1974, when Jerome and Mary retired and moved to Sherwood. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1997. Mary was a proud and strong Irish woman who talked frequently of her heritage. She loved her family deeply and devoted her entire life to enjoying each and every family member's presence in her life. The holidays in Mary's basement spent laughing and taking part in good cheer will never be forgotten. In her free time, Mary liked to read, watch Packers games, and spend time camping with her children. She also took every opportunity available to go out and visit old friends wherever she went. Survivors include her children, Jane (Art) Thiel, Chilton; Dick (Jan) Brantmeier, Sheboygan; Don (Mariann) Brantmeier, Chilton; Linda (Ted) Schaffer, Hilbert; Dave (Debbie) Brantmeier, Hilbert; a daughter-in-law, Mary Brantmeier, Chilton; grandchildren, Joyce Ditter, Carla Zwick, Gloria Arenz, Kellen Thiel, Lynn Stecker, Rick Brantmeier, Becky Bornemann, Suzanne Hostettler, Mike Brantmeier, Kim Hephner, Cheryl Schlater, Brenda Natrop, Brian Brantmeier, Sara Brantmeier, Scott Schaffer, Todd Schaffer, Heather Kolosso, Justin Brantmeier, Krista Henshue; 38 great-grandchildren, Nicole, Jon, Ryan, Eric, Steven, Natalie, Joshua, Bradley, Jeremy, Tyler, Nicholas, Zach, Olivia, Mackenzie, Hadley, Sawyer, Jackie, Jacob, Jessica, Jolene, Shandell, Lance, Marianna, Isabella, Gabriella, Miranda, Mitch, Emma, Abigail, Drake, Carly, Grant, Peyton, Garrett, Hannah, Matthias, Kennedy, Ireland; eight great-great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Brenna, Damian, Logan, Isaac, Kendra, Jade, Emma; and two sisters-in-law, Annie and Sallie Campbell, both of Milwaukee. Mary is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
