Notes - Wanda June Peters, 91, of Stockon, passed away December 2, 2012. She was born June 27, 1921 in Hardington, Nebraska to Leonard & Edith Lively. She lived in Hardington until she met a traveling magazine salesman, Lee J. Peters. After the start of the war, Lee asked Wanda to come to California where they married. After the war they made their home in Stockton where Lee ran a successful masonry business and they raised their three children. She loved being a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed bowling and especially enjoyed golfing at Swenson and Woodbridge where Lee and Wanda were charter members.
Wanda was the beloved wife of Lee J. Peters (d. 2000); the loving mother of Living son Peters, Living son and Living daughter (Husband); the devoted grandmother of Dennis Peters (deceased), Living grandson (Wife), Living granddaughter (Husband), Living grandson (sife), and Living grandson (Wife); and cherished great-grandmother of four living.
Services will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Church located at 5882 N. Ashley Lane in Stockton. Arrangements entrusted to care of ABC Wallace Funeral Services.
