She was born on February 12th 1935 in Boston, Massachusetts. My Grandma was adopted as a baby to
Mattie and Willard Bilodeau. My Grandma lived in Medford, Ma for most ofher young adult life. She
worked in the kitchen at Yale, University. Grandma also altered clothes and reupholstered furniture for a
living. At the time she met my Grandpa she was also working in a restaurant. That is where the two had
met and started dating. Grandpa was in the Navy and stationed in Massachusetts. On July 23rd 1955
Grandma and Grandpa got married. In 1965 Grandma moved with her husband and two children from
Boston to Mishicot, WI. Grandpa went into business with his family in Denmark, WI. where they later
found a house and moved. On April 27th 1966 they had their third daughter Michelle Marie. October 4th
1967 they had their fourth daughter Audrey Jean. June 24th 1971 they had their fifth and final daughter.
Grandma was a stay at home mom, but reupholstered furniture as well. Grandma just lost her husband on
February 19th 2010 to a stroke. Being diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia Grandma is going through a
hard time.
My Grandma told me she does not like frogs or toads. Grandpa Larry played a trick on her one time with
his brother Jim. Grandpa and Jim went frogging in a friends pond one day. Grandma was in the kitchen
and Grandpa let all the frogs go in the house. Everywhere Grandma went there were frogs jumping. He
walked in after a few minutes and she was sitting on top ofthe refrigerator screaming!
