- Robert "Bob" E. Van Den Berg, 42, Oshkosh, passed away in Madison, WI on Saturday, November 5, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born February 24, 1969 in San Pedro, CA, a son of Richard and Sherryl (Moore) Van Den Berg. On September 9, 1989 he married the former Lori Vanden Heuvel.
Bob was a Sargent at the Oshkosh Correctional facility. He loved driving school bus for the Northeast Wisconsin area. He enjoyed spending time playing Fr. Christmas with Lori throughout Northeast Wisconsin for over ten years. Bob also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, kickball, his motorcycle club GWRRA Chapter C, and finishing the Tail of the Dragon. But most of all Bob loved his time spent with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife Lori, son Terry Van Den Berg; daughter Ashley Van Den Berg; parents Richard and Sherryl (Moore) Van Den Berg; siblings: Curtis Van Den Berg and Kristal (Denae) Van Den Berg. He is further survived by his grandparents Arwin (Doris) Lindsay; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents Norbert (Jeanette) Van Den Berg, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation for Bob will be on Friday, November 11, 2011 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere from 10 AM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 7 PM.
