- Angela Campbell, age 85, of Hilbert, died on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton. She was born May 24, 1926, in the Town of Vandenbroek, the daughter of the late John & Hattie (Peerenboom) VanLankvelt. She graduated from St. John High School in Little Chute. Angela married Leo Campbell on October 10, 1950 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. Angela worked for A&P of Appleton and Neenah as a head book keeper for 6 years. Angela loved going dancing with her husband on Sundays and spending time with her family either playing cards or having a family barbecue. She also enjoyed golfing with friends and volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul. Angela is survived by her husband of 61 years: Leo; three children: Patrick (Debbie) Campbell, Jerry Campbell, and Mary Mann; three grandchildren: Cory & Sarah Campbell, and Mitchell Mann. She is further survived by three sisters: Frances, Dorothy & Margaret; sisters-in-law: Alvina Campbell, Marie Fassbender, Janet, LaVerne & Shirley VanLankvelt; brothers-in-law: Casey Lamers and Rainer Depies. Angela was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Henry, Peter, Bernard & Philip; brothers-in-law: Peter VanNuland; Arthur Campbell, Bernard Fassbender; and a sister-in-law: Lorraine VanLankvelt. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 30, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert with the Rev. Mike Betley officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2011 and on Friday at the church from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM. A Parish Vigil Service will be held Thursday evening at the funeral home at 7:00 PM.
