      RITES SATURDAY FOR HENRY COENEN

      Henry Coenen, 82, 931 11th Ave., N, died at 11:30 Monday night at his home following a lingering illness. He had been a resident here since 1946 and prior to that farmed in the town of Rudolph for 33 years.

      Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with the Rev. Florian Marmurowicz officiating. Burial is to follow in Calvary Cemetery.

      Mr. Coenen was born at Kaukauna on May 19, 1873, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Coenen, and married Christine Janssen at Little Chute on June 14, 1904. Prior to moving to Rudolph in 1913, he had been employed by the Kimberly-Clark Paper Co. at Little Chute for 17 years.

      Surviving are his wife; one son, Arthur, Wisconsin Rapids; six daughters, Mrs. Peter Rathsack, Two Rivers; Mrs. Carl DeMarse, Grand Haven, Mich.; Mrs. Alex Wallock, Stevens Point; Mrs. William Hilgers, Mrs. Vincent Freund and Mrs. Marvin Greening, Wisconsin Rapids; six brothers, John, Martin, August, Theodore, and George, all of Little Chute and William, Two Rivers; one sister, Mrs. George Hermsen, Little Chute, 26 grandchildren, and two great-grand children. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

      Friends may pay their respects at the Taylor Funeral Home from Thursday noon until time of services. Prayers will be said at 7:30 Thursday evening by the Catholic Order of Foresters, of which he was a member, with a general rosary to be said at the same hour Friday evening.
