- My great-grandpa, John Hermsen, owned a Barber Shop in Little Chute. That is not known as Carl's Barber Shop now. Everyone used to come to my Great-Grandpa's Barber Shop to get their hair done. He had nine brothers and sisters. When he was younger he always played barber shop with this friend and practiced on his brothers and sisters. He also wanted to own a barber shop in high school. His mom and dad thought that it would be a good idea.
