    • Leo D. La Barge Jr., Combined Locks, age 78, died Wednesday June 6, 2012. He was born April 28, 1934 to the late Leo and Marie (Gollubske) La Barge in Mosinee. He was an Army veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne division. Leo married Mary Leick on June 2, 1984. They celebrated their 28th anniversary on Saturday. Leo retired in 1996 as a district foreman lineman for Wisconsin Electric. His true passion was hockey. Many will remember him as "Dirty Leo" or "Elbows La Barge" from his playing days. He later was an A/House referee.

      Leo is survived by his wife Mary; children: Beth (Pete) Tetlier, David (Kay), Shannon (friend Todd) Willard and Erin (Jon) Stuyvenberg; grandchildren: Megan, D.J. and Matt La Barge, Elaina and Brenna Willard, Madysen and Trevor Stuyvenberg; and great-grandson Brodie La Barge. He is further survived by 5 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

      In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Layman.

      Visitation will be held Friday June 8, 2012 (TODAY) at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 10:00 a.m. until funeral at 12:00 Noon. Chaplain Mike Williams will officiate. Military rites conducted by the William Verhagen Post 60 will immediately follow. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery. To sign the guestbook visit oconnellfh.com.
