    • Mike “Big Daddy” James Pamperin, 63, Village of Howard, passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born on September 24, 1954, in Green Bay to James and Donna (Johnson) Pamperin.

      Mike and his two brothers were raised on his parent’s dairy farm in Howard. He was a graduate of Bay Port High School, Class of 1972. He owned Michael’s Styling Center in Howard, where he enjoyed working with his girls and talking to his customers. On May 20, 1978, Mike married Carol Erdmann at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She preceded him in death in 2011. He was a big sports fan and enjoyed camping, gambling, and playing pranks.

      Mike is survived by his children, Laura (Dave Johnson) Pamperin, Landon (Britt Blanchette) Pamperin; brothers, Gary (Sue) Pamperin and Russell (Donna) Pamperin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; and his parents.

      Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, followed by a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the intersection of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.), from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Scott Valentyn officiating. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
