    • Peter A. Guyette, age 61, Shiocton passed away with his family by his side; on Monday, April 29, 2013. Peter was born July 31, 1951, in Shiocton. Peter will forever be remembered for his love of his John Deere tractors and tractor pulling with his family. He will also be remembered for making his famous homemade buns. He enjoyed his westerns and a good ole game of cards. He proudly worked at Appleton (formerly Appleton Papers) for 42 years.

      He is survived by his wife, Darla, Shiocton, two daughters, Pam (Nieves) Fortuno, New London and Beth (Craig) Piepkorn, Appleton; his two stepdaughters, Amy (Tom) Fielding, Black Creek; Tammy (Chris) Fielding, Shiocton; his daughter in-law, Michelle Guyette, Shiocton. He is further survived by his mother, Catherine Guyette, Shiocton; brother, Harold Guyette, Shiocton; sisters, Ana Mae Burns, New London and Helen (Daniel) Diemel, Navarino; brother in-law, Richard Van Straten, New London; sister in-law, Sharon Hintzke, New London; sister in-law, Carla (John) Jones, Appleton and brother in-law, Greg (Lynn) Van Straten, New London as well as eight grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

      He was preceded in death by his father, John Guyette, son Dennis Guyette, as well as many other family and friends.

      Funeral services for Peter will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton with Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Maine.
