    • HENRY N. BEEMSTER, 85, of 915 N. Broadway, died last Tuesday in an area hospital. Occupied with various business interest over his lifetie, he was the found, owner and still president of the Bemmster Electric Co., in Green Bay. Mr. Beemster was the owner of a a small hydroelectric power plant on the Fox River near Claude Allouez bridge which supplied electricity to his home nearby. He was the owner of the Crystal Ice and Cold Storage plant in De Pere for a number of years and was a past vice president of Green Bay Structural Steel. He also was the founder and owner of the first ready-mix concrete company in Green Bay.Mr. Beemster was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 617; the Oneida Golf & Riding club; a 50 year member of the Green Bay Downtwon Kiwanis club; a 50 year member of the Green Bay Elks club, and a 50 year member of the Electrical Apparatus Service association..

      Surviving MR. BEEMSTER are his wife, ALMA; a daughter MARY ANN BEEMSTER-MEEHAN, of St. Louis, Mo; two brothers, Brother Peter Willebrord, SVD, Bordertown N.J. and the Rev. J. J. BEEMSTER, O. Praem., St. Norbert abbey; four sisters, SISTER M SIMEON, SSND, Elm Grove, MRS RAYMOND (JOSEPHINE) DeGROOT, Green Bay and MRS. CLARE SOBIEK, Milwaukee and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters SISTER M. AGATHONA SSND and MRS. HENRY (MARIE) PFEIFFER. A requiem high Mass was celebrated Friday at St. Michael's chapel, Lost Dauphin Rd., and burial in Allouez cemetery..
