News has just reached us that fire destroyed two of Simon Geiger's barns this morning. The fire started in an old log barn, cause unknown, and the structure stood about 50 feet from a large new barn, stocked with this year's harvest and hay. Sparks from the smaller building lodged on the new barn and got into the grain and this building with contents was also completely destroyed.
