- My Grandpa Rudy was born in 1932 - 1979. He fought in the war. But he smoked. He died of a heart attack. He married my grandma Virginia Hermus. She's still living. She had to raise 6 kids who fought by herself. She is still living in her house. My grandpa bought my dad and his friends to the Fox River. We still go there. If my grandpa was still living maybe he also could.
