- Lakewood - Gail Marie (Ver Voort) Luther of Lakewood, WI, formerly of Kaukauna, WI, age 53 passed away from lung cancer. Employed by the Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commission as an auditor. Graduated from Kaukauna High School, 1984. Gail married Scott Luther on July 14, 2007. One daughter Tara (Nick) Rooyakkers of Appleton and one granddaughter, Annabelle. Gail enjoyed camping, fishing, kayaking and loved spending time with her granddaughter. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. She liked to watch the birds, enjoyed gardening and had a huge affection for frog figurines, having too many to count.
Gail is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Scott. Her daughter Tara (Nick) Rooyakkers and her granddaughter, Annabelle, 4.
Her siblings include: Carol (Howard) Kluck, Mike (Donna) VerVoort, Kris (Terry) Van Epern, John (Chris) Ver Voort, Jean (Pat) Schmidt, Craig (Tonya) Ver Voort. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews: Christopher Kluck, Trevor Kluck, Sheila Holmstrom, Corey Van Epern, Dustin Ver Voort, Matt Ver Voort, Katie Schmidt, Claire Schmidt, Cody Ver Voort, Carley Ver Voort, and Shelby Luther. Also survived by Scott's family, Trevor (Bethany), Brett (Diane) and Todd (Frieda)
Preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Beth VerVoort, her step-father Virgil Vandeburgt, a brother, Judge, and a niece Beverly Ver Voort. Also preceded in death by her in-laws, Larry and MaryAnn Luther and many aunts and uncles.

Memorial Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, August, 23, 2019 at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, Lakewood, with Fr. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to time of service at church.
