- Rites Tuesday at St. Mary's for Mrs. A. Jirikowic
Had Lived Here Most of Her Life; Dies After Long Illness
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Jirikowic, 71, of 117 W. Sixth street, were held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Greenwood Funeral home and at 9:30 at St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. Joseph Kadepsky was in charge. Burial was in the Holy Cross cemetery.
Mrs. Jirikowic died at her home at 8:15 Friday evening after a long illness.
She was born in Sniderville, July 2, 1880, and lived in Kaukauna most of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart court No. 556, Women's Catholic Order of Foresters and of St. Mary's church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gregory Faust, Kaukauna, an Miss Frances Jirikowic, at home; one son, Joseph Jirikowic, Kaukauna; one brother, Edward Abb, Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Steward Morris, San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Buerling, Manitowoc; and seven grandchildren.
Honorary pall bearers were members of the Sacred Heart court, WCOF. They were Mrs. Robert Landreman, Mrs. Katherine Schaefer, Mrs. Frank McCormick, Mrs. Adam Spindler, Mrs. J. J. Kobussen, and Mrs. Mary Penterman.
Active pall bearers were Joseph Thelen, William Tennessen, John Van De Loo, Reinhart Rieth, Harry Borree and Robert Roberts.
