- Amber Diederich 1819 Meadowview Lane Little Chute Age 22, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 4, 2000, at her home. She was born September 17, 1978, in Saudi Arabia, daughter of Pat and Corliss "Cork" (Thon) Diederich. Amber was a 1997 Kaukauna High School graduate. She attended UW- Stevens Point for three years and was presently employed at the Appleton Post-Crescent.
Amber loved photography, dogs and being with her friends. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include her parents, Pat and "Cork", Kaukauna a brother, Ross, student at UW-Madison maternal grandmother, Betty Lou Thon, Darboy paternal grandparents, Joe and Carole Diederich, Sherwood aunts and uncles, Becky (Wayne) Schaefer, Sherwood Dean Thon, Appleton Carmen (Bryan) Johnson, Oconto Falls Darryl Thon, Kaukauna Kerry (Diane) Thon, Kaukauna Hal (Kellie) Thon, Appleton Keith (Susan) Thon, Medina Kent Thon, Appleton numerous cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Thon. Funeral services will be 11 a.m.
Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Burial in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy.
Friends may call directly at the church from 9 a.m.
Saturday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
