    • Donald W. Wickersheim, 59, W4638 Carney Road, Hilbert, died Friday, July 3, 1987 at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a short illness.
      He was born March 31, 1928 in Neenah, the son of Wallace and Adele Grones Wickersheim. He attended school at Sacred Heart in Sherwood.
      He was married June 24, 1948 at Green Bay to Mary Perleberg. The couple had resided in the Hilbert area all their married life, where they had farmed in the town of Stockbridge for the past 39 years.
      He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stockbridge.

      Survivors include his wife; his mother, Adele Wickersheim of Fond du Lac; two daughters and sons-in-law; Mrs. Keith (Kay) Olson of Hilbert and Mrs. William (Cheri) Van Oss of Chilton; four sons, and three daughters-in-law; Gary and Diane of Hilbert, Donald Jr., and Christine of Hilbert, Joseph and Marylee of Appleton, and James of Oshkosh; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law; Mrs. Othmar (Darlene) Sabel of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Melvin (Sharon) Gelling of Chilton and Lynnette Wingers of Chilton.
      He was preceded in death by his father, one son, one grandson and two brothers, Robert and Wally Jr.

      Services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockbridge with the Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial was in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Stockbridge.
