    • George Roman Holzschuh, of Sherwood, 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Appleton, from complications of heart surgery. He was born March 10, 1943 to Roman and Bernita (Mueller) Holzschuh. He graduated from Hilbert High School with the class of 1961. After graduation he worked with his father on the family farm. He took ownership of the farm and was a successful dairy farmer until his retirement in 2007. He was especially proud that the farm had been in the Holzschuh family for over 100 years. George was a hunter, who also enjoyed watching wildlife on his farm.

      He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two brothers: Rodney (Rosemary), Combined Locks and John A. (Joan), Brillion. He is further survived by four nieces and four nephews and their families: Nancy (Kerry) Westervelt, Maryland; Linda (Dennis) Groves, De Pere; Sharon (Simon) Neicheril, Texas; Tera Holzschuh (Steven Duvall), Colorado; James (Cathy) Holzschuh, Appleton; John P. Holzschuh, Combined Locks; Joel (Leanette) Holzschuh, Kaukauna and George F. (Abby) Holzschuh, Kimberly.
