      Afe 53, passed away Sunday evening unexpectedly. He wu born July 6, 1922 in Appleton and had been a Menasha resident the last 15 yean. Mr. Ehlke was employed by the American Can Company
      for 27 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. Survivors elude his wife, Mildred; three daughters, Sharon, Cynthia and Bonnie, all at home; seven sons, James of Menasha, Steven, Gene, Daniel, Gerald, Walter Jr., and Anthony, all at home; a brother, Robert of Oshkosh; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Striegel of Mackvllle, and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Nackers of Kaukauna; and 1 grandchild.
      The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Menasha with the Rev. Walter Lichtsinn officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Menasha. Friends may call at the Laemmrich Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Tuesday until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, and at the church from noon on Wednesday until the hour of the service. A memorial fund has been established for the Trinity Lutheran Church of Menasha.
