      Martin Van Gompel 1137 Depot St. Little Chute

      Age 84, passed away at 4 p.m. Sunday after a short illness. He was born December 5, 1883.

      Survivors include six sons, Martin Jr., Clarence, Richard, and Elmer, all of Little Chute; Henry, Kaukauna; Gerald, Combined Locks; six daughters, Mrs. John [Rose] Plach, Mrs. Janes [Ang] Schroeder, both of Appleton; Mrs. Oscar [Mayme] Huss, Freedom; Mrs. Merce [Grace] Fletcher, Shreveport, Louisana; Mrs. Ted [Verona] Gloudemans, Mrs. Naureanus [Lucille] Vanden Wyngaard, both of Kimberly; 58 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic with Rev. Martin Vosbeek officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Verkuilen Funeral Home. The rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
