- Rosemary "Rusty" Schoenfelt, Kaukauna, age 92, died peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. Paul Home with her family by her side. She was born August 31, 1920, daughter of the late John and Rose (Hoenig) Reith. On March 15, 1946 Rusty married G. Norman Schoenfelt. The couple resided in the area their entire married lives. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1979. Rusty loved playing Bingo and was a lover of "crafts". She was proud of her accomplishments. Rusty was a teacher's aid for the Art Class at Nicolet School and enjoyed seeing her "kids" as they grew. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna.
She is survived by her children: Kristine Schoenfelt and her buddy "Ashes", Beecher, WI, Keith (Deb), Austin, TX, Debra Schoenfelt, James Schoenfelt, and Kurt (Diann) Schoenfelt, all of Kaukauna; 4 grandchildren: Aria (Jason) Kilpatrick, Corbett Schoenfelt, Levi and Erica Schoenfelt; great-grandchildren: Chloe and Cora Rose Kilpatrick; a sister-in-law, Denise Reith, Kaukauna; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend and Bingo buddy, Tim Sturm and all her Bingo friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John; and 2 sisters: Dorothy (Pete) Steffens and "Blondie" (Carl) Giordana.
A Memorial Service for Rusty will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
