  Notes	Fred C. Bowers, 72, 911 Shea Ave., died Sunday morning in a local hospital after a short illness. He was born in the Town of Scott, but had resided in Green Bay most of his life. Mr. Bowers was a carman for the Chicago and North Western Railway, for 39 years before retiring in 1953. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Patrick's Church, the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen, Local No. 424, and the Order of Loyal Star. He and his wife, the former Julia Rentmeester, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 11, 1959. Survivors are his wife; five sons, Gordon, Richard, Patrick and Clifford, Green Bay, and Fred, Fallbrock, Calif.; eight daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Minnie) LaBine, Mrs. Paul (Hilda) Kyles, Mrs. Harold (Eleanor) Brosteau, Mrs. Killian (Helen) Zellner and Mrs. Norbert (Ruth) Kuiper, Green Bay; Mrs. Wallace (Mildred) Sacho9, Sun Prairie; Mrs. Gerald (Viola) LaPlante, Miami, Fla.; Mrs,. Donald (Arlene) Larscheid, Topeka, Kans., 57 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a brother Joseph, Calipatria, Calif. Friends may call at Schauer and Schumacher Funeral Home after 6:30 tonight. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday by the Holy Name Society and Mrgr. H. C. Head. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church, with burial in Allouez Cemetery.
