  Mrs. August Lemke, 82, 1520 N. Richmond street, died at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening at her home after a long illness. She was born April 21, 1875, in Greenville and lived in Appleton the last 37 years. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren church, with burial in Highland Memorial park. Friends may call at the Brettschneider Funeral home from 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon until 10 o'clock Friday morning and then at the church. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Carstensen, Madison; three sons, Hilbert Witthuhn, Nochols, Elmer Witthuhn, Milwaukee and Harry Witthuhn, Seymour; two brothers, Fred and Harry Klingenberg, both of Nichols; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Ashman and Mrs. Hilda Servaes, both of Appleton, and Mrs. Theodore Rihm, Seymour; eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchidlren.
