      Mrs. Augusta Schroeder,
      79, route 3, Appleton, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday after a long illness. She formerly lived at 834 E. Atlantic street.
      She was born July 15, 1880, in Germany. She came to Appleton as a child and lived here all her life. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brettschneider Funeral home, the Rev. Richard C. Schroeder, associate minister, Congregational church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
      Survivors include one son, Jack L. Schroeder, Appleton; two brothers, Otto Abendroth, Appleton, and Henry, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Ed. Siefert, Spokane, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
