Mrs. Bernard ( Rose) Van Eperen, 89, formerly of Greenleaf died early Tuesday morning, March 5, At Rennes Health Center in De Pere. Friends may call at the De Wane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown, from 4 until 9p.m. today (Thursday) and after 9 o'clock Friday morning until the cortege leaves for church. A parish pray
er service will be held at 7:30 tonight. A concelebrated Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30 Friday morning at St. Paul Catholic Church with Msgr. Roy Klister and the Rev. Elroy E. Reimer officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The former Rose Vanden Heuvel, she was born Feb. 26, 1907, in Little Chute to the late John P. and Mary Hermsen Vanden Heuvel. She and Mr. Van Eperen were married Oct. 16, 1928, at St. John Catholic church in Little Chute and farmed all of their married lives in Greenleaf. He proceeded her in death March 6, 1993. She was also proceeded in death by two grandsons, Ron Rietz and Mark Lamers; one great grandson, Michael Van Eperen; two sons-in-law, Ron Rietz and Ken Kalies; two sisters, Elizabeth Hieptas and Christine Verhagen and five brothers, George, Peter, Martin, John and Simon Vanden Heuvel. Survivors are four sons, Jerry Van Eperen of Wrightstown, Roger of Hollandtown, Marvin of De Pere, and Dan of
htstown; 36 grandchildren, 76 Great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Lamers of Kaukauna; nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bernard (Rose) Van Eperen

Age 89, formerly of Day Street, Greenleaf, died early Tuesday morning, March 5, 1996 at a De Pere nursing home. The daughter of the late John P. and Mary (Hermsen) Vanden Heuvel, Rose was born on February 26, 1907 in Little Chute and was a lifelong area resident. The former Rose Ann Vanden Heuvel and Bernard John Vanden Heuvel were married on October 16, 1928 at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute and the couple enjoyed 64 years of marriage until Bernard's death on March 6, 1993. The couple had farmed all of their married lives in Greenleaf.
Rose was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown and the Christian Mother's Society at the church.
Survivors include her children: Elaine Rietz, Wrightstown; Dorothy and Bill Lamers, Hollandtown; Jerry and Rosemary Van Eperen, Wrightstown; Roger and Doloris Van Eperen, Hollandtown; Mary Ellen Kalies, Kaukauna; Marv and Colette Van Eperen, De Pere; Maureen and Tom Van Zeeland, Wrightstown; Dan and Dianne Van Eperen, Melbourne, Florida; 36 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Lamers, Kaukauna; two sisters-in-law: Agnes Vanden Heuvel, Kaukauna; Una Van Eperen, California; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; two grandsons: Ron Rietz and Mark Lamers; a great-grandson, Michael Van Eperen; two sons-in-law: Don Rietz and Ken Kalies; two sisters: Elizabeth Hietpas and Christine Verhagen; five brothers: George, Peter, Martin, John and Simon Vanden Heuvel.
Friends may call at the De Wane-Cotter Funeral Home, 11 Main Street, Wrightstown from 4 until 9 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday until the cortege leaves for church. Parish prayer service will be 7:30 Thursday evening. Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown with Msgr. Roy Klister and Father Elroy E. Reimer officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
