Mrs. Wm. Erickson Dies; Rites Saturday
Mrs. William Erickson, 59, 180 11th St. N, died at 12:30 a.m. today at Wisconsin General Hospital, Madison, following a lingering illness.She had been at the hospital the past month.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Moravian Church, the Rev. Warren Sautebm officiating. Burial is to take place in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Erickson was born Louise Timmerman in the town of Carson, Portage County, on Jan. 27, 1899, the daughter of Mr. amd Mrs. Thoedore Timmerman. She was married to Edward Bringman in Rudolph in 1916. After his death in 1927, she moved to Wisconsin Rapids. In May, 1954, she married William Erickson. One son Rolland Bringman, died in 1953.
Survivors include her husband, four children, Donald Bringman, Madison; Gerald Bringman, Chicago; Robert Bringman, Ardsley, N.Y. and Mrs. Pat Surprison, Port Edwards; four step-children; Mrs. Carl Zeaman, Madison; Mrs. Richard Crotteau, Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. James Meilentine, Milwaukee; and Donald Erickson, Madison; three brothers, Joseph Timmerman, Terre Hautem Ind.,Leonard Timmmerman, California and Sylvester Timmerman , Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. John Morgan, Wisconsin Rapids and 17 grandchildren. Three brothers and one sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Higgins Funeral Home from 7 p.m. Thursday to noon Saturday and at the church from 12:30 until services.
