Mrs. Eugene Van Deurzen, nee Therese Biese of 705 George Street, Kaukauna, age 62, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 6, 1994 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
She was born November 12, 1932, in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late Henry and Matilda (Van Vreede) Biese.
Therese worked at the Skyview Club for 31 years as a cook. She also enjoyed sewing and assisted many area people as a seamstress. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Jeff Hammen of Little Chute, Connie and Gordie Vosters of Kaukauna; seven grandchildren, Matt, Josh, Kristin and Judd Hammen, and Angie, Justin and Jake Vosters; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Dorothy Biese of Kimberly, Bob and Gretchen Biese of Combined Locks; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Bea Van Epern of Kaukauna, Grace and Robert Buzz Garvey of Freedom, and Rosemary Mulry of Little Chute; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Peazok on March 4, 1989; and a brother-in-law, Jack Mulry.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. today, Tuesday, and after 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 8:00 p.m. tonight, Tuesday.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Van Deurzen's name.
