    • A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 1997, in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Joseph A. Duyck, who died Dec. 3 at age 75.

      Mr. Duyck was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Roy. He married Dorthy B. Stupfel in 1947. He was a farm worker and a member of the church. He lived two years in Banks and the rest of his life in Roy.

      Survivors include his wife; sons, Thomas A. of Forest Grove and Larry J., Brian F., Kevin N. and David J., all of Roy; daughters, Barbara J. Jorgenson of Roy and Doreen M. Loofburrow of Beaverton; brother, Emil of Hillsboro; sisters, Regina Stadeleman of Mountaindale and Rita Hermens of Banks; and 23 grandchildren.

      The family suggests remembrances to OHSU Parkinson Center or St. Francis Parish. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Arrangments are by Fuiten-Rose Chapel in Forest Grove.
