- Beverly "Bev" M. Baumgartener, age 78, of Wrightstown, was called to her eternal rest on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her home. The daughter of the late Harvey and Inez (Rosin) Zittlow was born on January 13, 1938 in Green Bay, and was a life-long area resident. She graduated from Wrightstown High School and later married Kermit Baumgartener on August 11, 1957 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wrightstown, where they were life-long members. Her many involvements at church included the Ladies Aid, Altar Guild and Martha Circle. Bev's hobbies included: gardening, sewing, crocheting, stamping, crafts, cooking (especially cookies and pies) and was fond of her grandchildren, whom she often cared for.
Survivors include her children: Cindy (John) Ring of New Ulm, MN, Chris (Warren) Folkerts of Scottsdale, AZ, Jessie Van Straten of De Pere and Stuart (Lisa) Baumgartener of Jacksonville, FL; dearly loved grandchildren: Andrea (Chris) Rubesch, Zachary Ring, Caleb Ring, Meghan, Jacob and Andrew Folkerts, Sarah (Jordan) Volkman, Nick Van Straten, Margo and Ryan Baumgartener; sisters and brother: Carol (Bob) Swender, Ruth Zittlow and Paul (Sally) Zittlow; sister-in-law Lois Baumgartener and brother-in-law Loree Baumgartener; nieces and a nephew.
Bev was preceded in death by her husband Kermit, a granddaughter Laura and her parents.
Family and friends may visit at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 437 Turner St, Wrightstown, on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 9:00am until 10:45am. The Funeral Service for Beverly will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Mike Gehl officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wrightstown.
