Gus Retzlaff Died Tuesday
Masonic funeral services were to be held in Phoenix today (Friday) for Gustave Retzlaff who died in that city Tuesday. Mr Retzlaff came to Wickenburg in 1950 when he purchased Wickenburg Motors from Ray Bramsen. He sold this business in 1951 and moved to Chandler and later to Barstow, Calif., before moving to Phoenix. He owned automobile agencies in Barstow and Winslow at the time of his death.
Mr Retzlaff was born in Brillion, Wis., 57 years ago. He was the regional sales manager for the Ford Motor Co. in California for 20 years before moving to Wickenburg.
Survivors include the widow; one sister, Mrs Herbert Pingle of Appleton, Wis.; and two brothers, George of Readfield, Wis.; and Raymond of Barstow, Calif.
Burial was to be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, Calif. tomorrow (Saturday)
