    • Brillion - June Ruth Bastian, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018 with family by her side. She was born June 18, 1928 in Appleton, WI to Erich and Verona (Krueger) Luebke. She was married to Roy Bastian on December 23, 1952 in Appleton, WI at the Evangelical and Reformed Church.

      June farmed with Roy in the Town of Brillion until retirement. During her lifetime, June was an active member in the Rural Brillion United Methodist Church, serving on the church board, Staff Parish Committee and organizing meals. She was also a member of the Brillion Historical Society. June liked to play card games, bowl, put together jigsaw puzzles, garden, cook, bake, travel, and go to musicals and plays. But the most important aspect of her life was her family. She was an integral part of her children's, grandchildren's and great grandchildren's life.

      Survivors include daughters Glenna (Tom Lach) Bastian, Marinette, WI; Paula Bastian, Brillion, WI; Carol (Paul) Graves, Neenah, WI; and son Douglas (Anita) Bastian, Jordan, MN; grandchildren Sarah (Mark) Mercier, Andrew Braun (friend Kelly), Erich Graves, Rachel (Armando) Zamora, Dayna Bastian and Adam Bastian; great grandchildren Jonathan Zamora, Lucas Zamora and Macy Mercier; and many nieces and nephews. Also, adopted family Mark, Carole, Nathan and Erin Rajkovitch.

      Pre-deceasing June were her husband; her parents; sisters and brothers-in-laws: Jean (Robert) Golden and Lois (Robert) Herrmann; sister-in-laws and brother-in- laws Irene and Wesley Schmidt, Mabel and Elmer Kruschke, Fern and Clarence Bernhardt, and Erna and Warren Luedtke.

      Visitation will be held at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Friday, September 21st from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction, WI will be Saturday, September 22nd from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral service following at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at the Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum in Manitowoc.
