- EMMA DUPUIS
In ill health for more than a year, Mrs. Emma Dupuis, 80, died early Friday at the home of her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Simono, 1720 Emmett St., Two Rivers, with whom she had resided for the past 20 years.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Klein & Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev. Clement Le Pine, a nephew, of Alphs, Mich., officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Dupuis, nee Emma Courchaine, was born in Two Rivers on April 18, 1874, a daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia Greenwood Courchaine. In 1892 she was married in Two Rivers to Louis Dupuis, who died in 1923. Four years later she was married to her late husband's brother, William Dupuis. He preceded her in death 20 years ago.
Mrs. Dupuis leaves two sisters, Mrs. William Virnoche Sr. of Two Rivers and Mrs. F. J. Lee of Manitowoc; a brother, William Courchaine, at Rt. 1, Gillett, Wis.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday until the time of services. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
