Black Creek
Muriel M. Holz, age 75, passed away on Tuesday evening, March 25, 2003 at the Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah from complications due to an automobile accident. She was born on November 2, 1927 in the Town of Ellington the daughter of the late William and Laura (Schulze) Schroeder. She was united in marriage to Alvin Holz on September 20, 1947 in Black Creek. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1996. Muriel was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Black Creek and the Women's Guild and a Mentor. She enjoyed working with children, spending time with her family, and driving school bus since 1989. She was also employed by Alto Dairy from 1976 to 1989.
She is survived by her children: three daughters and a son-in-law Carla Rae Van Camp, Townsend Laurie (Shannon) Babino, Appleton Anne Jack, Appleton four sons and three daughters-in-law: Dick (Chris) Holz, Shiocton Mike (Carla) Holz, Dave (Brenda) Holz, all of Black Creek George (Oshakeshaquoam) Holz, Keshena 15 grandchildren: Julie (Wayne), Stephanie (Brian), Amy, Matt (Sarah), Scott, Brad, Brian, Steve (Jodie), Tim, Sarah, Kevin, Gregg, Adam, Josh, and Cody three great-grandchildren: Kylie, Peyton and Kira her sisters: Ruth (John) Frieburger, Spring Hill, Florida Marie Angell, Appleton Arline (Dave) Dabill, Neenah Ila Mae (Dean) Hanson, Appleton and her brother, Bill Schroeder, Appleton. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law Elvira Bishop, Black Creek and Ellen Holz, Appleton also, numerous nieces and nephews.
Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin her favorite son-in-law, Rick a brother, Bobbie three sisters-in-law: Lorena Peters, Jean Kruse, Erma Wichman and three brothers-in-law, Marvin, Gilbert and Raymond.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 28, with visitation continuing on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. John United Church of Christ, Black Creek. The burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
Mom, you were a very generous and loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. You had your own "meals-on-wheels". You shared your love not only with your family, but "your kids" on the bus, too. You will never be forgotten and will be in our hearts forever.
A special thank you and much gratitude to all the rescue services who responded to the accident and all the staff at Theda Clark for their special care and concern. Also, a special thank you to Officer Sara.
