- Former Official of Town of Woodville Dies in Menasha at 68. Michael P. Schreiner, 68, former assessor and health officer of the town of Woodville in Calumet county, died at the home of his son, Earl Schreiner, 829 Jefferson street, Menasha, at 2:10 Sunday morning after being ill since June. He was born Nov. 8, 1884, in the town of Woodville, {the son of Nickolas and Margaret Thiel Schreiner}, and lived there and at Appleton before coming to Menasha in June to live with his son. He had been employed at the Zwicker Knitting mill. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. John Hechtman, Munising, Mich.; two sons, Irmin and Earl, both of Menasha; a brother, Theodore, Collegeville, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Feathers of Collegeville, Minn., and Mrs. Anna May of Fond du Lac, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Mary church, Menasha with the Rev. Joseph A. Becker in charge. The cortege will form at 8:30 that morning at the Laemmrich Funeral home in Menasha and burial will be in St. John cemetery at St. John. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening and the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Tuesday night.
