- Paul Bernard Biese, age 82, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by family members on July 27, 2022. He was born on August 4, 1939, son of the late Ben and Elizabeth (Daul) Biese. On May 14, 1960, he married Carol Gerhartz at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukaun. Paul attended Holy Cross Grade School and graduated from Kaukaune High School in 1957. He was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Paul worked as a butcher for Larry's Piggly Wiggly in Little Chute for over 40 years. He was good ol' guy that enjoyed people and his customers. Paul loved spending time outside mowing the grass, attending to his garden, and blowing snow until icicles hung from his nose. One would always know when Paul was around because of his humming and whistling. He and Carol loved their trips to visit family in Oklahoma and Florida. Paul also enjoyed getting into character with Carol for their annual Halloween Paul is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Biese; children: Vicki (special friend, Tim Harrell) McCrumb, Mark (Donna) Biese, Mike Biese, Tim Biese, Sara (Scott) Hurt and Nick (Melissa) Biese; grandchildren: Sam (special friend Cathy) Biese Emily (special friend Alex) Biese Brittany McCrumb Brooke Biese, Morgan Biese, Tyler Biese, Madi Deering and Austin Biese; siblings: Joanne Buechler, Delores (Richard) Gerrits, Pat (Bert) McIntyre, Donna (Lance) Goetzman and Danny Biese; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Elizabeth Biese; siblings: Gene (Betty) Biese MaryLee (Erv) Rosenow and Richard (Dorothy) Biese brothers and sisters-in-law: Gene Buechlar, Rita Biese and Sandy (Tom) Lopas; father and mother-in-law, Vic and Germila Gerhartz. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 222, at Holy Cross Catholic Churc, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna.
