Age 75, slept peacefully away Monday September 25, 1989 at her home. She was born July 27. 1914, in Hartford, Wi., the daughter of the late Willard and Della (Gonnering) Moser. For the past 28 years, she was married to Donald Vandehey; prior to that she was married to Mervin Weyenberg and that marriage was blessed with seven children. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and had been a past volunteer who took care of the altar. Myrtle was aslo a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 60, the Kimberly Golden Agers, the Catholic Knights, and the 3rd Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; ten children; Lois and Carl Hietpas, Little Chute; Jim and Janet Weyenberg, Freedom; Dolly and Larry Diedrick, Combined Locks; Roy and Kathy Weyenberg, Appleton; Mary Ann and Ken Vander Wielen, Menasha; Tom and Carol Weyenberg, Kimberly; Carol and Gary Micke, Freedom; Dick Vandehey, Kimberly; David and Jacci Vandehey, Kimberly; Mark and Pat Vandehey, Kimberly; 39 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters in-law; William and Lucille Moser, Little Chute; Lloyd and Dalores Moser, Freedom; Ralph and Rosie Moser, Kimberly; two sisters and two brothers in -law; Mary and Paul Plamann, Appleton; Jen and Ernie Vosters, Kimberly.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mervin in 1958; a daughter, Mary Lou Vandehey in 1966; and a great grandchild, Amanda Reinke, in 1988.The funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 1989, at Holy Name Catholic Church, Kimberly, with Father Ronald Lhotte officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom. Friends may call at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (tonight), and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday until cortege leaves for the church. The American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m., and the parish prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening (tonight). A memorial has been established.
