    • Leonard H. Harder, age 91, a Manitowoc resident died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at
      Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc.
      Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 1995, at Redeemer
      Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Richard C. Miller, will officiate with interment
      at Evergreen Cemetery.
      Leonard was born June 29, 1903, in the town of Chilton, Calumet county, son of
      the late Frederick and Mary Pagel Harder. He grew up and was educated in the town
      of Chilton and was self-employed as a dairy farmer. Later he was employed at
      Calumet Cheese Company, retiring in 1970. He married Lorine S. Merbach, June 5,
      1935, at St. John Lutheran Church in the town of Woodville, Calumet County. They
      celebrated 60 years of marriage together. They were residents of Hilbert since
      1946, coming to Manitowoc in 1980. He was a member of Reedemer Lutheran Church,
      Manitowoc.
      Survivors include his wife, Lorine; one son and daughter-in-law, David L. and
      Kathleen K. Harder, Menasha; one daughter and son-in-law, Doris L. and Leonard P.
      Reindl, Manitowoc; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, his twin brother,
      Reinhard and Viola Harder, Menasha, Gerhard Harder, San Antonio, Texas, Frederick
      and Marcella Harder, Chilton; six grandchildren, Leslie (Joseph) Jackson, Appleton,
      Amy Baeckman, Cedarburg, Douglas (Lori) Baeckman, Oak Park, Ill., Bobbie Harder,
      Appleton, Jay (Traci) Harder, Appleton, Scott Reindl, Manitowoc; six great-
      grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Ben Duchow, Chilton; two sisters-in-law, Frieda
      Timm, Brillion, Lillian Merbach, Kaukauna. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and
      friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Duchow and
      Elnora Deno; three infant brothers.
      Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold Pfeffer Funeral Home, from 4-8 p.m.
      Tuesday and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
