The solemn requiem mass was chanted by Rev. Father Sproll, celebrant; Father Caddock, deacon; Father Sullivan, sub-deacon. Music was furnished by a special choir. Following the church services the remains were taken back to the home to await relatives from away to attend the burial, which took place on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary's cemetery where Father Sproll preceded the funeral cortege, and held a short religious ceremony. Pallbearers were Peter Vanderheiden, Theodore Brochtrup, Charles Brochtrup, Edward Dworak, John Fox, Jake Reisdorf and Barney Eiting.
